Mohammed Nur Deribe
Mohammed Nur Deribe is standing for the House of Representatives because he believes Jere deserves representation that is practical, accountable, and focused on delivering for the constituency. He has spent his working life building businesses, and he wants to bring that same discipline to the work of representing Jere Federal Constituency.
Mohammed Nur Deribe completed his foundation at St Andrews College, Cambridge, before earning a degree in International Business from Nottingham Business School, with an exchange programme at the University of West Florida, Pensacola. He built his career in enterprise, across construction, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and retail.
That work taught him how to approach a problem. In construction, he has learned the difference between announcing a project and delivering one. In energy, he has built ventures in a demanding sector. In agriculture, he runs a working venture that applies modern methods at scale. He has managed people, met payrolls, and answered for results, and he carries into public life a straightforward belief, that it should be judged the same way, by whether it delivers.
The Work Ahead
Mohammed Nur Deribe believes Jere can become one of the most productive constituencies in Nigeria. That will not happen through government alone. It will take effective representation that removes barriers, attracts investment, and makes sure Jere is not overlooked in the decisions that shape it.
As a Member of the House of Representatives, he will work to ensure that federal policies and resources serve the interests of Jere. He will engage consistently with government institutions, advocate for the constituency, and stay accessible to the people he represents.
He will keep listening to and working with communities across Jere, in the belief that the strongest representation is informed by the people it serves. What he wants is straightforward, to help create the conditions in which farmers, traders, entrepreneurs, students, and families have a better chance to succeed.
